Physical Therapist
Michael Cao
Michael Cao MPT earned his BS in Biology at Northwestern State University in 1997. From there, he went on to earn his Masters in Physical Therapy at the prestigious University of St. Augustine in Florida in 2000, which is best known for their curriculum in manual therapy. Upon graduation, Michael Cao worked for the largest outpatient physical therapy company in the nation, Physiotherapy Associates for 15 years (Select Medical), managing multiple clinics throughout Southern California. His passion and focus is on personalized, innovative treatments to help his patients obtain and return to prior physical and mental functioning. His positive energy and warm personality, helps put his patients at ease, as well as motivating them to obtain their goals.
During his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and 3 children, keeping an active and healthy lifetsyle, fishing, photography and watching his favorite team, the New Orleans Saints. The company was named after his mother (Hope) who passed away due to cancer.
Physical Therapist
John Vu
John Vu, PT, DPT, earned his Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Economics from the University of California, Irvine in 2004. He worked in the financial industry for 8 years, but wanting to find a true career focusing on mutual health satisfaction and fulfillment with people, decided to transition to the field of physical therapy in 2012. John earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017 from California State University, Long Beach. His introduction to physical therapy was in 2013, as a rehabilitation aide to Michael Cao, MPT, at Physiotherapy Associates, and their paths crossed again in 2017 as John was eager to treat patients in an outpatient setting with someone with just as much commitment and compassion. Now colleagues at Hope Physical Therapy, John and Michael’s combined enthusiasm make for vibrant, fun environment for patients to come rehabilitate what ails them.
John leads an active lifestyle, with health and shape being a top priority for him. He is an avid sports fan, following basketball and football fanatically. When not in the clinic, John can be found either in the gym working out, watching sports at home, or at the local all-you-can-eat restaurant.
Physical Therapist Assisant
David Nguyen
David Nguyen is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant in providing exceptional patient care and rehabilitation services, with a passion for helping individuals regain their strength and mobility. David earned his Associate of Applied Science in Physical Therapist Assistant from Concorde Career College in 2024. He was introduced to the healthcare environment in 2018 and developed a keen interest in the field while working as a rehab technician. His early exposure to patient care and rehabilitation sparked his passion for helping individuals improve their quality of life through physical therapy.
Outside of his professional life, David enjoys staying active through lifting weights, hiking, traveling, and trying different foods. His commitment to improving the lives of his patients and his enthusiasm for his field make him a highly respected and effective Physical Therapist Assistant.
Physical Therapist Assistant
Jeremy Reynoso
Jeremy Reynoso, PTA, earned his Associate Degree from American Career College soon after being honorably discharged from active duty in the Marine Corps. His first exposure to physical therapy was during his time in the military when he was treated for his back and knew that it was the perfect career choice for him. He takes great pride in implementing his military experiences, personal training background, and manual therapy skills towards providing the highest quality treatment. He continuously strives to represent himself and the field of physical therapy in the most positive way he can. Jeremy is extremely personable, enthusiastic, and compassionate towards people of all ages and demographics and makes everyone feel at home.
Jeremy is a very active person who loves extreme sports, such as skateboarding, snowboarding, racing, and combat sports. He also has a passion for the outdoors and enjoys camping, hiking, bike riding, or just relaxing at the beach. Health and fitness are very important to him so you will always count on him working out at the gym.
Physical Therapist
Barbode Moshfegh
Barbode Moshfegh PT, DPT earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from California State University, Long Beach in 2018. His journey to physical therapy began back in 2016 where he began volunteering at an outpatient clinic and saw firsthand the way therapy changed patient’s lives and immediately knew this was his calling. This reaffirmed his passion to pursue healthcare and improve people’s wellbeing incorporating his interests of fitness and science. He attended the University of St. Augustine in San Marcos California where he graduated in 2023 with honors, and aims to continue developing his skills in orthopedics, sports, and manual therapy.
During his free time, Barbode enjoys relaxing at the beach, playing golf and basketball, going to concerts, bouldering/rock climbing, spending time with friends, and weightlifting. He loves watching football and is a diehard Lakers fan. He is always eager to experience anything new.
Physical Therapist
Alexander Pham
.Alexander Pham PT, DPT earned his Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, Irvine in 2011. He continued his education by earning a Masters in Preclinical Sciences at Mercer University in 2014. While at Mercer University, his path to physical therapy began in 2013 when he was a rehabilitation aide and he was able to work in different settings from outpatient to inpatient therapy. He was able to experience and be part of the process of how therapy changed patients’ everyday lives and well-being. Alexander attended University of St. Augustine in San Marcos, California where he graduated Magnum Cum Laude with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020. He continued to develop his therapy knowledge and skills at ATI Physical Therapy in Georgia from 2022 to 2024 and then he returned home to California to contribute and better the health of this community.
In his free time, Alexander enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and dog, playing golf, working out, working on his car, traveling and trying new foodie destinations.
